Mint Chocolate Cocoa Sticks

1 box of Mint thins
3 bars of milk chocolate (melted)
Crushed peppermint candies
Popsicle sticks
Plastic shot glasses
Directions
- Line up shot about 12 shot glasses.
- Pour a bit of milk chocolate to coat the bottom of the shot glasses.
- Cut each mint thin into quarters and place one cut up mint thin into each shot glass.
- Top with more melted chocolate.
- Insert one popsicle stick into each shot glass and top with crushed peppermint candies.
- Freeze the shot glasses for a couple of minutes until completely hardened.
- When ready to prepare – Pour about 3/4 cup of milk into a pot and bring to a simmer.
- Carefully pour into a mug and stir with the mint chocolate stick until completely melted.
- Top with whipped cream and more crushed candies and enjoy!!
Notes
- Variations:
You might want to try some variations on the strudel filling, such as half pear or half apple instead of all apples, or use dried cranberries, almonds, and ground ginger instead of raisins, walnuts, and cinnamon. If you decide to make the strudel with pitted fruit such as plums or peaches, add 3 tablespoons cornstarch to the filling to absorb the extra moisture.
